Since 1899, Boone Comenor Metalimpex has been recycling industrial metal waste and supporting its customers in the management and processing of their production scrap. BCM is now a leading player in the recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, at the heart of raw material circularity issues.

our mission

To support manufacturers by working across the entire metal recycling value chain, from scrap collection to its reintegration into new production cycles.

By directly integrating with its customers’ industrial processes, Boone Comenor Metalimpex guarantees optimal management of metal waste material recovery without loss or mixing and a secure, high-quality supply for downstream sectors.

A global
industrial partner

As a valued partner to industrial production sites, Boone Comenor Metalimpex provides consistent, high-performance solutions on a global scale, guaranteeing the same level of service across all supported sites. BCM is currently present at 50 sites in 17 countries across 4 continents.

This international presence enables us to meet the standardisation, traceability and performance requirements expected by major industrial groups.

  • 600 Employees worldwide

  • More than 1.8 million Tons of ferrous and non-ferrous metals recovered

  • 17 countries A presence in Europe, Africa, South America and Asia

  • 1,955,000 Tons of CO₂ avoided through material recovery

A proven process
in four key stages

BCM installs and operates compaction and collection equipment directly at its customers’ industrial sites, deploying its own infrastructure and equipment, managed by experienced teams.

Scrap is immediately processed and tracked using dedicated digital tools, providing customers with near-immediate reporting and complete visibility of their material flows.

The collected metals are sorted, prepared and processed (shearing, crushing, compacting, briquetting, spinning) to facilitate their reintegration into new manufacturing cycles. The batches are then stored and transported by road, rail or sea.

The prepared metals are sent to foundries and steelworks to be melted down and transformed into finished or semi-finished products, guaranteeing high-quality secondary raw materials.

A concrete response to
the challenges of resource depletion

A concrete response to
the challenges of resource depletion

In a context of growing tension over access to raw materials, Boone Comenor Metalimpex provides a concrete and sustainable industrial solution. Thanks to its in-depth understanding of production issues and its ongoing pursuit of performance, BCM enables its customers to secure their supplies, reduce their dependence on virgin resources, actively contribute to the circular economy. Digital technology is also a key lever for this performance, promoting traceability, transparency and flow optimisation.

Laurent Boone

Managing Director, Boone Comenor Metalimpex

“Boone Comenor Metalimpex accompanies the major actors of the automotive industry globally to protect and valorise their resources, to better recover and supply raw materials to their subcontractors. We are completely integrated inside the production sites thanks to the teams, technologies, digital tools offering transparency and tractability, and experts helping them understand markets evolutions. The recovery of metallic materials significantly limits the use of virgin materials. In this way, we are part of The Future is NEUTRAL’s endeavour. Moreover, we calculate for our customers the amount of CO2 unproduced thanks to our joined actions.”
